When I think of Capri, it’s all about pure glamour — azure sea, dramatic rock formations, sun-drenched promenades, chic beach clubs, and a timeless elegance that never fades. This Mediterranean gem is my favourite muse, inspiring both my swimwear designs and my personal escapes. Here's how I indulge in Capri — whether lounging, hiking, dining, or simply soaking up la dolce vita.

WHERE TO STAY:

Punta Tragara

Clinging to the cliff at the Faraglioni, this Le Corbusier‑designed villa turned luxury hotel delivers jaw‑dropping sea views on every terrace and at both its infinity pools. The on-site spa, stylish rooms carved from rock, and Monzù terrace dining are pure Capri magic.

JK Place

A Fellini‑style whitewashed villa overlooking Marina Grande and the Tyrrhenian Sea. With classic-meets-modern décor by Michele Bonan, 22 bespoke rooms (most sea‑facing), a spa, pool, and Michelin‑level dining—you may never want to leave.

Hotel La Palma

Nestled in Capri town, this boutique gem boasts a charming rooftop terrace perfect for sunset cocktails. Ideal for families and friends, the shared menu fosters a convivial ambience with beautiful views over Grand Hotel Quisisana.

Grand Hotel Quisisana

An institution since 1845, this is my go‑to for people-watching and classic Capri style. I remember staying here 25 years ago—cocktails on the terrace, pasta alle vongole at lunch, pure perfection.

WHAT TO DO:

The Arco Naturale

My favourite morning ritual: hiking past Villa Malaparte to this spectacular rock formation. Every path offers jaw-dropping views—perfect for working off pasta indulgences and taking amazing photos.

Villa Lysis

Just a short walk from the port, this historic villa’s gardens and terraces offer serene sea vistas and glimpses into Capri’s romantic past.

Via Krupp

This newly reopened zig-zag path down the cliffs leads to Marina Piccola and a string of beautiful beach clubs—an elegant way to descend to the sea.

Boat Hire

The ultimate indulgence—rent a boat for a private tour around Capri. Discover hidden coves, the enchanting Blue Grotto, and sensational sea views.

WELLNESS:

Capri Palace Jumeirah & Beauty Farm

My go‑to for detox and rejuvenation. Their famous mud-packed ‘Leg School’ worked wonders for cellulite and water retention. I always leave feeling slimmed, refreshed, and ready for more Capri adventure.

BEACH CLUBS:

Capri is all about barefoot strolls and crystal-clear sea swims—so many stairs and so little shade.

Da Luigi ai Faraglioni

Classical and cinematic—right on the rocks with a private staircase into the sea. Order zucchini pasta and let the view take you away.

Da Gioia by La Palma

New and exclusive, this club at Marina Piccola offers impeccable service, fresh juice shots in the sun, and sea bass with all the trimmings.

Fontelina Beach Club

An iconic staple, accessible by steps or boat. Think retro charm, turquoise waters, and effortless Capri style.

WHERE TO EAT:

Il Riccio (Anacapri)

A Michelin-starred seaside gem for refined Italian fare. Enjoy views of the endless blue while indulging in fresh seafood—a true taste of Mediterranean luxury.

Villa Verde

A playful, casual spot ideal for a midday break. The mozzarella and tomato salad is a must, alongside their exquisite sea bass.

Capri remains the ultimate destination for a balance of glamour and escape. Whether unwinding in a kaftan with a green juice, powering up with a sea swim, or dancing barefoot at sunset, this island is my muse — and your perfect Capri itinerary.
