Friday Fix: Tasty Treats at Prawn on the Lawn

This Friday, we thought it was time to turn our attentions away from our external appearance and show some care and attention to our insides as healthy eating is something we take pretty seriously at Melissa Odabash - after all how else are we going to get our bikini bodies in time for summer?
We are also firm believer's in the importance of treating ourselves to a meal out, and fortunately being based in London we are spoilt for choice with wonderful restaurants which still keep our clean eating on track.
One of our regular haunts is the infamous Prawn on the Lawn based in the bustling area of Islington.

Prawn On the Lawn

This trendy fishmonger and seafood bar serves exquisite fish and seafood that is both ethically and sustainably sourced, as well as offering a unique buying and dinning experience for customers helping to make your night out extra special.

The intimate restaurant, found near Upper Street, is now one of the capitals leading destination for seafood devotes and connoisseurs due to the tapas style menu that 'moves with the tide's' and changes daily depending on what can be sourced from the day boats that morning in Brixham, St Ives and Padstow.
Prawn on the Lawn has recently topped the TripAdvisor restaurant poll due to all the positive feedback and reviews, as well building an extension to cater to the high volume of demand.
Sounds pretty impressive to us!

The range of mouthwatering signature dishes include; Prawn on the Lawn (an open soda bread sandwich of fresh prawns tossed in chilli, lime and coriander dressing on a bed of crushed avocado); scallop ceviche (scallops marinated in lime with a sprinkling of passion fruit seeds), as well as our personal favourite the ‘Fruits De Mer platter.
We consistently feel spoilt for choice with the array of seafood on offer and we must insist you try the dishes, they will blow your taste buds away!

With next week's bank holiday weekend coming up there is no excuse not to head North and try this unique, fresh and mouthwatering dining experience!
