Monday Motivation: Inspired by Itsines

This week's Monday Motivation comes from the fabulous Kayla Itsines who has helped to revolutionise the world of fitness for women everywhere.

Her world-famous Bikini Body Guides have helped women to tone up, shed unwanted weight and gain a huge confidence boost when achieving their fitness goals. Kayla's routines fall into the 'strong not skinny' gym mentality by incorporating numerous weighted exercises and energetic high intensity routines.
Each of the workouts available in her guides aim to target two areas such as arms and abs and offers a circuit of four exercises for each area and Kayla insists on performing the four moves in each of the two circuits for 7 minutes at a time and repeating that again after a brief 90-second break!
This brutal, sweat inducing approach to fitness has led to her followers using Instagram hashtags such as #deathbykayla when sharing their workouts, but it doesn't put many people off.

Kayla's Instagram feed is constantly updated with a stream of images which vary from work-out tips, nutritional recommendations and inspirational quotes, all of which help encourage her millions of followers who have dubbed themselves 'Kayla's Army' as well as sensational before and after photos which her Bikini Body Guide girls send in to her, often accompanied by lovely messages of gratitude about their new figures and new-found confidence.

Recently, Itsines' success even led to her embarking on a world tour and conducting bootcamps in locations such as Amsterdam, London and New York. Fortunately, even with the London tickets selling out in 39 minutes flat two of the girls from Odabash head office were lucky enough to snag a couple of tickets and went along to the empowering female fitness event.
After an intense half-hour of workouts led by Kayla herself at Kensington Olympia the girls were left feeling exhausted, yet uplifted and more motivated than ever to keep exercising to help get the beach bodies we all aim for.
