Migrating to Miami

As winter is slowly coming to an end, we cannot help but to anticipate Spring more than usual due to New York’s indecisive weather. Like many, we are in need of some warm weather and an escape from the procrastinating sun. Since Mother Nature has New York playing quite the guessing game, we figured it is time to migrate to the south to Miami Beach for a taste of the good life!

If there is anyone who can recommend the best bars & beaches of Miami - it's Melissa Odabash! Growing up in Florida, Melissa spent many weekends getting familiar with South Beach so we've got the 411 on her favorite places to visit in the Deco District.

Soak in the beauty of Miami's art deco architecture at The Delano Boutique Hotel. The four-winged, white tower is a favorite with the Kardashians and offers a chic modern style. Take your mind off the freezing rain with a refreshing frozen daiquiri while laying out at the trendy pool scene with perfect views of South Beach. Considering Melissa's obsession with white, it's no wonder this is a favorite for the Miami native who loves Delano's minimal, all white decor.

After a day catching some rays, Melissa loves to start her evening at Casa Tua's on James Avenue. Hidden by a jungle of greenery, this Italian restaurant is the perfect venue for a romantic dinner or special occasion. The lantern-lit garden, delicious Italian food and inviting atmosphere makes you feel as though you are visiting the home of a very good friend.
