This weekend anyone who is anyone will definitely be found in Miami - including many of the Melissa Odabash team!
With the 11th annual Miami Swim Show - the only fashion week specifically dedicated to swimwear, taking place over the coming days, we are without a doubt that journalists, celebrities, models and social media personalities will be flocking to South Beach to take in the fashions, as well as the rays.
Bikini babes Natasha Oakley and Rocky Barnes have already been spotted at many local haunts and as Miami is a city known for it's nightlife we thought we'd share our favourite place to visit for any post-show drinks!
The Setai hotel in Miami is an exclusive beach resort which oozes luxury has homed the creme-de-la-creme of the A-List such as Beyonce and Jay-Z, Giselle, Simon Cowell and more. With an Asian inspired concept achieved through dark decor, water features, clean lines and an array of palm trees this hotel focuses on providing excellent service teamed with un-ashamed opulence - and you wonder why this is our venue of choice!
Whatever the weather, the Setai is the perfect evening drinks location with a chic, carved wood bar inside and the alternative of the decadent restaurant courtyard outside. Venturing outside to take in the fresh sea-air gives you plenty of space to relax, recline and sip away in any of the cushioned seats which surround the central, statement water pool, as well as being lined with palm trees and topped with a wooden pagoda - its hard not to believe you are somewhere much more exotic than Miami!
The ambiance is always relaxed in this swanky outdoor setting, yet the buzz of any fellow drinkers makes this a destination where everyone in Miami wants to spend their evening. With an innovative cocktail menu which includes ingredients such as maple smoked bacon, cucumber caviar, lemon verbena espuma, and flamed oranges this is a cocktail menu that can offer something, even for the most adventurous of palettes.
This range of flavour infusions also combines a dash of the latest trends in mixology, and continue to reflect the hotel's exotic Asian influences.
This weekend, no matter what shows or events you are attending in the day, we insist when in Miami you spend your evenings at the Setai.
