Why we love... Papaya!

For thousands of years the Papaya fruit or ‘Tree of Life’ has been known for its vital skin and health benefits, and whilst some of us may be cooped up in the office, or alternatively, relaxing on the white sands of an exotic beach – there is no reason why any beach beauty should be missing out on the amazing effects that Papaya can have on your complexion and cardiovascular health.

Papaya Greek Yoghurt Smoothie

A Papaya and Greek yoghurt smoothie is a perfect to start your day with a Vitamin C packed breakfast.

To create this mouth-watering blend add ½ a large papaya, ½ cup of cranberry juice, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 2 cups of ice and ¾ cup of Greek yoghurt - blend and enjoy!

NAUGHTY TIP: Add a shot of tequila for a cheeky poolside cocktail!

Papaya Face Mask

Papaya is rich in antioxidants as the enzymes help to rinse away old, dry skin cells and unblock pores.

Blend or mash half a papaya, mix with a teaspoon of honey and a squeeze of lemon; apply to the skin for up to 10 minutes, then wash off to reveal a healthy, glowing complexion.

Papaya Bruschetta

Papaya is not only limited to sweet dishes but is a great option as a savoury lunch which also adds in strong digestion.

Experiment with a Papaya Bruschetta, pairing the fruit with plum tomatoes, fresh basil, red peppers, onions an olive oil laid on some freshly grilled bread.

Green Papaya Salad

For any mums-to-be, Papaya has also been known for its aid in morning sickness!

Try your Papaya in a green salad, a great way to settle your stomach and also get all the nutrients you’ll need when eating for two!
